A short ten minute walk from Azalea Beach there is the Titanic Pizzeria and the Hotel Cortijo Blanco. There are also a selection of shops and bars here including; Buddies Bar, Rent-a-Car Laila, 24 Hour Medical Centre, Tricky Ricky’s sandwich bar, Judy & Peter’s Berlin Bar (Snacks & Drinks) and Flannagan’s Irish Bar (Open Mon-Fri from 3 p.m. & Sat & Sun from 4 p.m.) Take the first right past another parade of small restaurants and cafeterias (12 minutes from Azalea Beach), including; El Rincon Del Pescador Restaurant, Gambasol (fresh Fish Shop), San Danielle Italian Restaurant, Golden Sun Chinese, Il Capuccino Italian Pizzeria, Bar Moreno, Cafeteria Mi Mino, CASHPOINT MACHINE and Panificadora Linda Vista (Ice Cream Parlour).

Supermarket Sol is also here, which can also be reached from the main road. Turn left at the ‘Anil Art of Living’ Furniture place. This road takes you right down to the sea front and the San Pedro beach and beautiful promenade.

Excellent restaurants, specialising in sea food, include; Taberna de Alabarden Restaurant and the Nuevo Reino Restaurant. Further along the promenade you will find excellent informal beach side restaurants and cafeterias including; the Hawai Kai Beach Bar, Flamingo Beach Restaurant and Alrevera Café. All nicely spaced apart and overlooking the beach and sea.

The nearest Petrol station is the Esso one on the main road. Turn right out on to the main road. It also has a small convenience store.

Highly recommended restaurants in the area and personal favourites of ours (and we’re not on commission) include: Terra Sana, in Puerto Banus (952 906 205) in the area behind the Casino. Also in the area at the back of the Casino is the Regina restaurant, a smart Italian restaurant serving more traditional food with nightly entertainment. Plus Casa Italia a friendly, family run Italian restauarant serving traditional pizzas and pastas as well as delicious entrees. These restaurants are extremely popular and it is advisable to book.
